At #alchemybeautystudio we take pride in every aspect and angle of our work. Whether it's assisting a client choose the right color/style, playing the right music during your appointment, or guiding you in the right direction for exceptional hair care and product, we have developed a very keen eye for detail and a tailored experience you’ll be reminded every time you enter our space.

Not only do we give every client a unique experience, that is inspired by art and nature, but also formulate a color that suits your skin tone, personality, and overall aesthetic.

Owner, Stylist, and Kevin Murphy Educator
Chantel was born in Hawaii but raised in Reno, NV. She has been passionate about color and color theory her whole life. She loves to experiment whether on canvas or hair -her pallet reborn with each appointment.

Chantel graduated from cosmetology school in early 2010 at 20 years old. Among traditional schooling Chantel completed an intensive apprenticeship with the elite Aveda stylists. In her time she has (and continues) to put in hundreds of hours into her knowledge base by taking various and diverse courses to perfect her art and progress her skill as an artist and stylist.

In 2019 Chantel earned the title of Kevin Murphy educator. You can catch one of her classes in reputable salons in the Northern Nevada area.

Alchemy Beauty Studio is a unisex salon located in Reno. We specialize in the full spectrum of hair services inspired by nature and fashion using non-toxic products. On location services available for all your styling and makeup needs for any special event. At Alchemy Beauty Studio we care about the integrity of our services we perform and the products we use. Consultations are always complimentary.

We are a Kevin Murphy Session Salon using Color.Me and KM products exclusively for non-toxic beauty.
